Data Protection Privacy statement

As of 25th May 2018 a new EU legislation called GDPR or GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION is effective. This affects everyone. You as the consumer have rights to your data and what businesses do with it. To know how we collect and use your data please read my Privacy Statement (below).

We will only use your information to provide services to you that you have requested and give you information regarding treatments and products available from me.  Any medical information held will only be used by us in conjunction with your appointments and will be stored in a secured/locked location that only we have access to.  The correct medical information is necessary for us to carry out your appointment.  We will never pass any of your information onto any third party other than Shedul which is my booking system.  Shedul will only hold your name, contact number, email address and what treatments you have.  Your sensitive information is not held electronically.

From time to time we would like to contact you with any offers or events we are running.  We may also contact you reminding you of appointments. 

We are required under UK law to keep your basic details such as name, contact number, address, date of birth, email address and medical details for a minimum of 7 years after your last treatment with me.  After this timescale they will be securely destroyed.

Your rights

If at any point you believe the information I hold for you is incorrect you may request to see this information and have it corrected, deleted or transferred.  Your full rights include:

  3. The right to rectification
  4. The right to erasure
  5. The right to restrict processing
  6. The right to data portability
  7. The right to object
  8. Rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling.
